Google Classroom
Classrooms today are more diverse than ever. AYOA now includes the option to share through Google Classroom and blend seamlessly into your teaching!
AYOA has now included the ability to share to Google Classroom. To begin sharing your Mind Maps please follow these steps:
1. Open the Mind Map you wish to share.

2. Click on the 'Share' icon, and you will see the option for 'Google Classroom', to enable sharing you first must have shared the map.

3. Sharing can either be private or public:
Private; an AYOA account is required to access the map, users should be added to the map in AYOA before sharing the link:

Public; anyone can access the map, use the ‘make public’ button in AYOA and pick the appropriate settings.
Once a board is shared privately or publicly the button is active and you can click it to share it with your Google Classroom.
4. When clicking on the button you will be directed to the Google Classroom page where you can add extra details.
Google Classroom settings are managed by Google not AYOA.

5. You can set what class to share it as and the action linked to it.
Press Go once ready.

6. You can add details such as Title and Description.
If you are sharing a public map with password protection enabled, the description section is a good place to paste that password for your students to have access!
Click Post when you are ready and your students will be notified.
They will have access to join.
Google classroom members should already have Google accounts. They can use the sign up / sign in with google option when opening a private link.

7. You will be able to edit and see any details of the Class via your Google Classroom page

If an AYOA Project is shared to Google Classroom, any users with an AYOA account who are members of the board may also be able to switch to the other views within AYOA (Mind Map, Document, WhiteBoard, Task Board)
