The idea bank is a space for you to get down stray thoughts and add them to your mind map later. This ensures you won’t forget a light bulb moment and you don’t have to worry about where it fits into your overall brainstorm straight away.
How the Idea bank works:
1. Click on the bulb icon in the top right cover.
2. This will open the Idea Bank window in the top left-hand corner of the screen.
3. Here you can add ideas that you have but are not sure where to put yet. Simply type an idea into the bar and press enter to add.
4. Your ideas will form in a list below.
5. To edit an idea, click on one, and select the pencil icon that appears. You will then be able to retype the idea.
6.You can also add a note, or an attachment and move an idea to another Idea Bank in a different mind map, or delete the idea.
7. To add these ideas to your map, simply drag one from the bank and drop onto an existing map branch.
8. You can also add a branch back to the Idea Bank and use it in another view ( Document, Whiteboard or Task Board). Simply click on the chosen branch and then the Copy selection to Idea Bank option.
9. The ideas from Idea Bank can be used across different views within the same mind map.
